Visits to the zoo to watch the seals swim underwater are just about the best. Especially when it's super hot outside because for a few moments we can pretend we're surrounded by cool water! Even better is a trip to the ocean to see the seals (and the sea lions) in their natural state. This little wooden seal toy, who doubles as a sea lion, will remind you of fun times at the shore or the zoo.
This seal is made from natural walnut wood (no stains used) and is about 3 inches long, 1-3/4 inches high, and 3/4 inches thick. As with all our toys, we've sanded the wood and all the edges edges of this toy smooth so it will be delicate in the hands of your little one.
This seal toy is intended for children over 3. It's not a teether, but is safe if toddlers take a taste test. This toy is finished with a natural and non-toxic beeswax polish we make ourselves and leaves this wood toy with a smooth finish. All colors you see are natural - we use no stains, dyes, or paint.
