Picture this: It's a sunny summer day. The air is warm, the water refreshing. You're sitting on your beach towel enjoying some fries from the board-walk. And then you notice the lonely seagull. Why not share the love of this beautiful day? You toss the seagull a french fry. In a flash the fry is gone. The bird hops towards you, sad eyed look in it's face. Is it hungry. "One more fry," you say.
That was a mistake.
A dozen birds land at once, a score more are greedily swooping in. You throw them the handful of fries you have left, but it's not enough. The flock around you grows, then, almost encircled, you grab your towel, turn to your heels, and run away.
Phew. Right? We promise this little seagull toy will never greedily eye any food you eat. He'll stand at attention just like those palace guards, except this bird won't even blink. Made from strong maple, this little gull is about 2-1/2 inches long, 2 inches high, and about 3/4 inch thick. As with all our toys, we've sanded the wood and all the edges edges of this toy smooth so it will be delicate in the hands of your little one.
This toy is intended for children over 3. It's not a teether, but is safe if toddlers take a taste test. This toy is finished with a natural and non-toxic beeswax polish we make ourselves and leaves this wood toy with a smooth finish.
