We designed and built this 1/12th (one inch scale) dining set with the smaller child in mind. This dining set is kid friendly, but it won't survive a smashing or use as a hammer (or nail), but it will survive rougher play. Note that the wood CAN be broken resulting in small pieces that create a choking hazard - always supervise the play of younger children.
The wood you see in the picture is natural walnut. If it's scratched you won't see a pale basswood underneath - you'll only see the same color wood as on the surface. The wood is finished with linseed oil.
You will receive one walnut dining table - it is 5" long, 3-1/2" wide and a bit under 2-5/8" tall. The table top is 1/8" thick.
You will receive four walnut chairs - each is 1-1/2" wide, 1-5/8" deep, and 3" tall. The seat is 1-1/2" off the ground.
The picture is representative - every dollhouse piece is unique so the wood for your furniture will vary from the picture. The accessories shown are not included.
WARNING: If product is abused, it can be broken presenting a choking hazard. Not for children under 3 yrs.
